Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2 episode 4 video: Angelina Pivarnick’s return
For us, her return typically means one thing more so than anything else: Incredible drama. We know that she is a polarizing figure within the reality TV, but we mostly like her as a distraction at this point to some of the other conflict that has been going on with Ronnie and his girlfriend Jen. This has been a really weird season given that it hardly feels like Jersey Shore. Deena is pregnant and, understandably, hasn’t been around. Meanwhile, Ronnie may be off dealing with some personal issues within this episode and beyond just that, we were already short a female cast member after Sammi decided that she didn’t want to be a part of the series anymore.
Angelina at least brings back some nostalgia for the original series, and we don’t really think that she did anything all that bad on the first part of Family Vacation. Of course, after that she and JWoww had it out and that is something that is going to need to be resolved. (Based on the sneak peek below, it’s Snooki’s fault that she is turning back up.)
More so than anything else, we just want Angelina to bring some fun back to a show that, really, has just become depressing the past few weeks. We do understand and appreciate the producers’ commitment to keeping the show real, but at a certain point it starts to get too heavy. We especially want some fun given that the future of Jersey Shore beyond this season remains unclear. Think of things this way — nobody knows for certain what’s going to happen with The Situation’s legal issue and Deena’s about to be a new mom. It’s possible that they won’t be available for a while and when you add no Sammi to the mix, that means only five of the original cast members (season 3 on, anyway) may be available.
