The Blacklist season 6 has added another notable name to their cast of recurring players, but in news that really shouldn’t shock anyone, they are keeping some of the finer details under wraps.

According to a new report from TVLine, Ken Leung, formerly of Lost as well as The Night Shift, has been brought in under a recurring capacity. However, there isn’t a whole lot of information that is known about his role.

We should start things off here by just saying that there are always some easy guesses to make about guest stars on this show, starting of course with the idea of them being possible villains. Without great Blacklisters, this wouldn’t be anywhere near the same show that it is. These roles also have a tendency to be very much appealing to a lot of performers out there, mostly because they’re often so weird, wonderful, and stretch the imagination in a way that you don’t always see from some other roles out there. Ultimately, there’s just a whole lot of appeal that comes for people to want to play these sort of roles.

Unfortunately, you are still going to be waiting for a good while to learn about Ken Leung’s role, or to find something out about this season as a whole. The Blacklist season 6 is not premiering until 2019, but at least when it does come back there are going to be new episodes that run for most of the winter and spring. Consider it a trade-off of good and bad news given that when the show does come back, you are going to be getting a lot of it and that is certainly worth celebrating.
