Dancing with the Stars 27 spoilers: Nancy McKeon appearing with Val Chmerkovskiy
Today, it was officially confirmed that the former The Facts of Life star (who has appeared on Sonny with a Chance and The Division) is going to be dancing alongside Val Chmerkovkiy. He has won the competition on a couple of occasions with Laurie Hernandez and also Rumer Willis — he’s certainly experienced, but the big question is whether or not he can bring McKeon to the top of the leaderboard. We know that she is not the first contestant from The Facts of Life to appear, as Cloris Leachman and also Kim Fields have turned up in the past.
Interestingly, McKeon’s participation comes on the heels of there being discussion about a possible The Facts of Life reboot or revival at some point in the future. We do wonder if that’s something that will be a discussion point during the season, just as we also wonder if we’re going to see more sitcom stars on the show this year. We do like these sort of contestants appearing on the show, largely due to the simple fact that they understand the entertainment business and have been around the block for a while with it. There is a sense of gratitude here that is not necessarily present with a lot of other contestants out there.
New episodes of Dancing with the Stars 27 is going to be premiering on ABC later this month. Meanwhile, the cast will be revealed in its entirety next week. It’s interesting why this one was revealed a little early, but it does get people talking about the show.
