Mayans MC episode 2 preview: The cartel worlds collide

Mayans MC

Moving into Mayans MC episode 2, it’s pretty darn clear already that we’re going to see some characters in trouble. In the premiere episode, it was clear that the Mayans motorcycle club already found himself immersed within the world of Galindo cartel, for better and also for worse. This involved everything from secret tunnels to, of course, gunfire.

The longer that we see them immersed in this, it’s pretty clear that the more complicated that things are going to become. Add to this the dissension in the Mayans themselves and EZ Reyes’ attempts to find a way in the group.

Below, the Mayans MC episode 2 synopsis offers up some more news and information when it comes to what lies ahead:

The Mayans seek answers from a local crew as the Galindo worlds north and south of the border collide.

So what do we want to see moving forward over the next few weeks? It may be rather strange to say given that this is a drama series, but it’d be great to see more joy and celebration before things get extremely dark and start to go completely down a whole. The more that we have a chance to see some of these characters fleshed out now, for better and for worse, the better off the series is going to be in the end. We’re still very early on and with that, we find ourselves wondering how dark this show will get by the end of the season and, beyond that, what the audience is going to be. If you recall, Sons of Anarchy was an incredible smash hit for FX when it was on the air. We imagine that the expectation is that Mayans is going to have a hefty audience of its own, even though this is a different era and with that, we anticipate slightly smaller numbers.
