Making It season 2 premiere date hopes for Amy Poehler – Nick Offerman show

Making It episode 1

Following tonight’s finale on NBC, when could the Making It season 2 premiere date be? That’s something we’re set to dive into today!

Let’s kick things off here, first and foremost, with the simple reminder that there is going to be a Making It season 2 in the future. This is something that was confirmed by the network earlier this year, with the big reason for that being a combination of the show’s ratings and also the critical attention that it received. While the crafting competition, hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, is not culture-defining television by any means, it does still remain one of the best shows of its kind. It’s funny, it’s inspirational, and it’s a nice dose of lighthearted summer fun at a time in which we think that a lot of people are really craving it.

At the moment though, there isn’t much in the way of official Making It premiere date season 2 news out there, but we do think that there are a couple of different options for the show.

Option #1 – Next summer. This makes the most sense, mostly because you don’t want to put this series on the air so often that it starts to feel like there’s never a break for it. Yet, given that the first season is only six episodes, this may also feel like an especially long break. It may just be necessary, given that Poehler and Offerman are perpetually in-demand and there are going to be some other gigs that they have to take on.

Option #2 – In the winter. The argument to make here is that this is a chance to get the show more viewers and establish a brand that can last more in the long-term. The best way to do this is to air the new season of the show potentially after the premiere of America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which is going to be airing at some point in the new year.
