Take Two episode 13 (finale) spoilers: The path to a possible cliffhanger
Are you ready for Take Two episode 13? Our feeling is probably not, mostly because this episode is going to mark the end of the first season. Depending on what ABC decides, it could also be the final episode of the series. We don’t want that to be the case, but we also don’t want to shield ourselves from the reality that this could happen.
Basically, the message that we’re trying to reinforce here is simply this: If you love Take Two and want to see it continue to be on the air, this is an episode that you have to watch live! We all have to do our part, and there’s plenty of reason to watch this episode. Sam and Eddie’s personal relationship could be at the center of this, and the same goes for the partnership they’ve built. Finales are meant to really test characters in a big way and we imagine that this is going to be the case here. (Based on what executive producers Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller told CarterMatt in a recent interview, this finale could potentially have a big cliffhanger at the end of it.)
Below, the Take Two episode 13 synopsis offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:
…Sam and Eddie take a case involving a serial con man who victimizes wealthy women. In order to recover their client’s money and jewelry without scaring off their suspect, the pair hatch a plan to con the con man using Sam as bait. But their plan goes awry when they discover they’re not the only ones after the con man and they may be stepping into a trap themselves. As events unfold, Sam’s future and Eddie’s past collide to test their professional and personal relationship that could change everything.
As for how we want to see this season end, we do think a cliffhanger has value — it gives fans a reason to fight for more. Yet, at the same exact time we do think that it benefits the show to at least give a conclusion that allows us to imagine the future in the event Take Two doesn’t come back. Throwing both of these components into a single episode may be tough, but we do think it can happen.
