Call the Midwife season 7 arriving on Netflix in US soon!

Call the Midwife season 7 episode 2

If you love Call the Midwifeit makes sense that you want as many different venues as possible. This is the perfect show for a rainy day or to escape from the world. While it can be devastating and emotional at times, it also can warm your heart and give you hope in humanity. In a lot of ways, it is This Is Us meets Grey’s Anatomy — it doesn’t have as big of a US following as we would like, but that’s why we’re glad that Netflix exists! It gives viewers a chance who don’t watch PBS regularly a chance to really check the show out.

Luckily, Netflix viewers are also going to have a chance to check out the most-recent seventh season of the show soon. On September 10 (that’s a little more than a week away!), the entire seventh season is going to be available to watch. This is one of the most important seasons of the show for many reasons, especially since it teaches you a lot about healing within the world of Poplar. Some of it is physical, but a great deal of it is equally emotional.

Our advice if you’re watching for the first time is simply this: Be sure to have a box of tissues on standby in the event that you are watching this for the first time and don’t know what happens.

The timing of season 7 hitting Netflix is great in that it gives you plenty of time to watch/re-watch the series before the Christmas Special arrives on PBS later this year. There is an eighth season of the series currently in production, but it’s fair to say that you’re going to be waiting for a while longer to see it. While it will be premiering on the BBC early next year, we’re expecting a launch in America in the spring. That is the pattern that has been established here over time.
