The CW highlights Arrow season 7, Legends of Tomorrow, more in new promo

Legends of Tomorrow season 4

The CW has just revealed its latest promo for the Arrowverse shows plus Black Lightning, and there are a few different teases buried within here.

Obviously, we should note that with this promo only lasting for a minute and containing five separate shows, there is only so much that can be included for each one of them. Nonetheless, we do get a few new teases of Oliver Queen on Arrow season 7, plus also Barry Allen’s new costume on The Flash and a couple of cool glimpses from Black Lightning.

Yet, the thing that has us the most curious right now comes courtesy of Legends of TomorrowMaybe we’re being impacted in some way knowing that this show is really the underdog one of the Arrowverse, but it really feels true now more than ever that we’re not seeing all that much of it as of late. A part of this may just be that the show is really venturing far off the beaten path in taking on more mystical creatures, but another part of it may have to do with it not being involved in the Arrowverse crossover this year for whatever reason. On one level, we’re not all that upset about this given that it means the cast will get opportunities to do more great stories of their own. Yet, at the same time we’re a little bit bummed-out about the fact that the series isn’t getting as much promotion as its cohorts.

With that, let us remind you that Legends of Tomorrow season 3 was awesome and it may be the best show in the Arrowverse right now. There, we said it. Also, this season is adding Constantine full-time and we have to think that this is going to be good for something.

All of these series are going to premiere in October, with Supergirl in particular being notable in that it is moving to a new timeslot Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
