Lethal Weapon season 3 video: Seann William Scott talks new character

Lethal Weapon season 3It’s no secret that Lethal Weapon season 3 has been mired in controversy for a while, but it has to be a super-strange situation for Seann William Scott coming on board. He’s coming on board after a heated and nasty public feud between Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford, and for him, we imagine that it’s just great to have a job as a lead on a TV show. He’s a great actor walking into a really tough situation.

As we’ve documented before, the sentiment is very divided among fans over the future of the show. It’s almost useless to try to speak to either crowd in a convincing way because those who have decided to stop watching are firm in that belief. The same goes for those planning to check the show out. We talk about that more in the video below — be sure to subscribe for more updates if you enjoy it.

In the other video below, Scott himself talks about joining the show, working with Damon Wayans, and also his new character of Wesley Cole. He is a former CIA operative who is incredibly skilled at what he does and he is trying to put down roots in Los Angeles. Much of the third season is going to revolve in part around seeing if he can do that and if he can figure out a working relationship with Roger Murtaugh. This season is going to very likely in some ways similar to what we’ve seen before, but we also imagine that it will be a little lighter and have some different dynamics in some of its relationships. We’re not really going to know if it works or not until the ratings come in at some point next month … that’s just something to keep watch on in the weeks to come.
