Chicago Med season 4 key art revealed — with a big question
The art above features all of the main characters who are a part of the show, including Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), Ethan Choi (Brian Tee), and many more. However, DiPillo, who plays Dr. Sarah Reese, is not featured at all. That does raise questions as to her status, especially in the wake of the season 3 cliffhanger.
If you think back to last spring’s finale, in it Dr. Reese found Dr. Charles standing over her father, who was in the midst of a serious medical crisis after Daniel confronted him (justifiably, in many ways) over a potentially-murderous past. He did not handle such an accusation well and Sarah doesn’t know the full story. This sort of incident could be the sort of thing that causes her to leave in order to get a fresh start elsewhere.
If DiPillo did choose to depart the NBC show, she would be the latest in a series of One Chicago cast members who has left in the last few years. Sophia Bush chose to exit Chicago PD at the end of season 4, whereas Monica Raymund chose to leave Chicago Fire following the conclusion of season 7. At the moment, no one at Chicago Med has discussed the status of DiPillo; we suppose that it’s possible she was just not available for the photo shoot, but the omission here is still curious.
Outside of her omission, we do think that this is a rather-cool key art that offers up a nice look at a number of other characters. Also, Colin Donnell’s head is enormous compared to some of the others, but that’s not surprising since he is a huge draw for the show.
