9-1-1 season 2 teaser takes the danger up another notch (video)
In the new video that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see some real footage from the upcoming season along with some random disasters, and this makes it clear that there will be an earthquake at the center of many of the problems plaguing the city. This is something that many of us living in California fear on a regular basis (in fact we just had a smaller earthquake yesterday) so this is a story that will drive a real fear into many of our hearts since this is a natural disaster that could happen at any time here. We can only imagine just how many problems this is going to cause for the operators, the firefighters, and the police officers who are doing everything that they can in order to help the people of Los Angeles.
Basically, we think that we’re gearing up for one of the most chaotic batches of episodes that we’ve had a chance to see to date. There are stories coming up that will test everyone, most notable the new character played by Jennifer Love Hewitt. She is taking on her new job as a 911 operator and looking to restart her life after dealing with some past abuse, and she is going to find herself at the heart of a massive disaster right off the bat. That is going to prove itself to be very difficult for her, given that she may still be fighting some of her own demons to go along with whatever she can do for others.
The premiere episode of 9-1-1 season 2 is slated to premiere on Fox come Sunday, September 23. It will be the first of a two-night event, with the second installment coming the following night. All signs point towards this being an excellent, action-packed way to kick off the season and we can’t wait. This has quickly become one of our favorite new shows!
