Siren season 2 spoilers: Meet new recurring character Nicole
According to a report from Deadline, the Freeform series has cast relative newcomer Natalie Linez in the aforementioned recurring role. What we know about this sort of character at the moment is this: She’s someone who has just arrived in town and with that in mind, she’s probably going to get attention from a number of people. Even with the recent siren presence, it’s not exactly like Bristol Cove is the sort of sleepy town that is necessarily overrun with people. Instead, it’s more of the sort of place where everyone knows everything about everyone else because they are so used to spending almost every single second of the day with one another.
Nicole seems to be in particular catching the attention of Xander, and all signs at the moment seem to be suggesting that he could end up being some sort of love interest for him during the second season. For him, this may be a nice way for him to not have to think as much about the death of his father. Yet, at the same time there is another problem here: The listing describes Nicole as being a “mysterious woman with her own agenda,” so she isn’t just arriving in order to befriend the locals and fall in love. There is a specific purpose why she is there, and whether it is good or bad for some of the characters on the series remains still to be seen.
As recently reported, new episodes of Siren are going to be airing starting in January. With that in mind, at least you know that you are not going to be stuck waiting forever in order to get more answers.
