Elementary season 6 finale spoilers: First look at two-part installment

For everyone wanting to know what the Elementary season 6 finale is going to be like, we have our first inkling. It shouldn’t be a surprise that Michael is going to be at the center of the story, given that he was established at the start of the season as a significant threat to Sherlock and really, all of New York City. He’s a horrible killer who uses his and Holmes’ own addictions as fuel. We already know that he is back in town, but he hasn’t killed just yet on the series. But, that looks like it’s going to be changing.

The final two episodes of Elementary this season are going to air on September 10 and 17, and they are relevant to each other in that this story is being told as a two-part arc. This is a storyline that is going to threaten lives, Sherlock’s own sobriety potentially, and also Holmes and Watson’s ability to continue to work together. Michael claims that he lives for the chase with Sherlock, but what he doesn’t seem to realize is that this chase is going to end — and it’s going to end in a very ugly way.

Season 6 episode 20, “Fit to Be Tied” – Holmes and Watson’s deadly conflict with Sherlock’s former friend Michael (Desmond Harrington) intensifies when their newest victim looks to be the serial killer’s latest prey, in the first part of a two-episode season finale event on ELEMENTARY, Monday, Sept. 10 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Season 6 episode 21 (finale), “Whatever Remains, However Improbable” – Holmes and Watson face their greatest challenge to date when a murder investigation threatens to destroy their partnership, in the conclusion of a two-episode sixth season finale event on ELEMENTARY, Monday, Sept. 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Given that there is a season 7 renewal already out there at CBS, you at least don’t have to worry about that in regards to this show. Instead, you just have to worry about what the Michael saga could do to Sherlock and his ability to investigate crimes in the future.
