Good Trouble spoilers: See new Noah Centineo photo on set!

Are you excited for Good Trouble to premiere on Freeform in the new year? Well, we do think that we’ve got another reason to be!

Last week, it was first revealed that Noah Centineo would be returning as Jesus to the Fosters spin-off. This would be big news regardless of anything else, but thanks to Centineo’s new role in To All the Boys I Loved Before, it is even more of a big deal. This movie officially put Noah on the map to many people, and it’s almost like he was now a well-kept secret on the set of the show for many years. The craziest thing to still think about here is that he wasn’t the first actor to play the role! He replaced the original actor in Jake T. Austin during its run and he’s found a really great place with the rest of the cast.

As for why we’re going to see Jesus stopping by on Good Trouble, there’s obviously an organic reason for him to do so due to the relationship that he has with Callie and Mariana. They are all related, and it’s with that in mind there’s always going to be a spot for him on the show whenever the right story is there. While we don’t expect to see Jesus more than just in an episode here and there, we do hope that there are a few different opportunities in the seasons to come where he can turn up. We don’t expect it to be a frequent occasion, but it’ll be nice to have him here and there.

Centineo is joining Hayden Byerly, Sherri Saum, and Teri Polo as former cast members of The Fosters confirmed to be returning.
