Power season 5 episode 8 spoilers: Can Angela prepare Ghost in time?

Are you ready for Power season 5 episode 8 to arrive? We’ve had a chance to see a lot of great stories play out this season, but the Ray Ray investigation has been especially important. This has been an opportunity to see Ghost and Angela get back on the same page … but it’s messy. It almost always is messy with these two, and the two also have to prepare themselves now for more interviews as the focus is planted firmly on Ghost amidst the investigation at large.

In a sneak peek over at Vibe, You can see Angela doing her best in order to make sure that he can take on anything that is thrown at him. Ghost claims that he wants to turn himself in, but that is something that Angela fights him on by reminding him of one thing — he doesn’t really have a clear connection to Raymond Jones. If he goes to the police claiming that he killed the man, he needs to have a story and really, he doesn’t have one. She wants him to be prepared for any outcome, but it’s also pretty darn clear that this is not the outcome that she wants. To us, it’s fairly clear that she would rather him move in a very different direction and start to see the larger picture here of what the investigators are trying to do.

While we know that Angela and Ghost are both super-smart characters, the challenge that the two of them collectively face here is that they are squaring off against people who are very much intelligent in their own right — and also capable of piecing together just about anything. This is one of the things that is best about Power; the cops aren’t idiots and they have a tendency to figure things out. There just tends to be a snag or two that often gets in their way.

What we just know entering this episode is this: Ghost can’t just focus on stopping Dre. He needs to pay attention to every little thing that Angela is telling him.
