Blue Bloods season 9: New behind the scenes Donnie Wahlberg tease
This video was shot late last evening by the actor behind Danny Reagan, and it features a number of different things that are interesting. First, you’ve got a stunt involving a car being crushed; then, you’ve got a dead body (a pretty obvious fake one) floating in mid-air. This prompts Donnie to make a joke about playing a dead body being his wife Jenny McCarthy’s dream when it comes to the show; if this is really the case, we are seriously wondering why in the world this hasn’t happened yet!
Anyhow, the big takeaway that we really have from this is that there is some more exciting action stuff coming in season 9. While we do not exactly think that Blue Bloods is ever going to be the action-heavy franchise that we have courtesy of Hawaii Five-0 or MacGyver, it can dabble in it successfully here and there.
As for what we are hoping to see from Danny overall this coming season, we do want to see him out in the field continuing to do some of what he does best; yet, we’re also hoping to get more of him as the guy doing everything he can to keep his family stable in the midst of what has been a really tough time for him after the death of Linda. The more great character moments and interactions we get from him, the happier we will be in the end.
