Fuller House notes: Bob Saget appearing in Candace Cameron Bure episode + more

Fuller House

Today, Fuller House season 4 is taping Candace Cameron Bure’s directorial debut, an event that’s been many weeks in the making. That may be exciting for many of you out there, but there is also some other good news to go along with it: Bob Saget will be around for this episode!

Saget confirmed the news this week in a new post on Instagram, and while it’s always easy to think that he’s going to be around all the time, the simple response to that is “well, he’s not.” Saget is only in a certain percentage of the episodes, but it’s nice to see that he is going to be back now in order to be directed by his TV daughter. It’s certainly not something that he must have expected back when he was working on the original Full House so many years beforehand when she was still a kid, but it’s pretty cool how this show and these professional relationships have changed over time.

We’re starting to get near the end season 4 production as a whole, but there is one other great thing to report on right now: On the other side of this episode, you’re going to get a chance to see one directed by another actor in Dave Coulier. This isn’t Dave’s first gig as director, as he has stepped into this role for episodes over the past couple of years. Clearly, Fuller House is the sort of show that wants to give people a chance to try out a wide array of different roles. We’re certainly excited to see how this season kicks off, especially since there are so many big stories set up already for Kimmy, Stephanie, and DJ — in addition to so many supporting characters.

While there is no confirmed premiere date yet for Fuller House season 4, at the moment we expect the series to return around the holiday season.
