SEAL Team season 2 episode 1 spoilers: What’s next in ‘Fracture’?

SEAL Team season 2

SEAL Team season 2 episode 1 is coming to CBS on Wednesday, October 3, and based on all early indications, this premiere should prove interesting. We just saw the Bravo team go through a lengthy and narrowing deployment and in the aftermath of that, we know that they’re going to have some other struggles to deal with. For one, they have to figure out how to recover mentally from it while also knowing that they have other missions to take on. When you’re on a team like this, it’s pretty clear that you don’t have many opportunities to sit around and think of what you’ve just been through. You just have to move forward.

The SEAL Team season 2 episode 1 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Fracture” – Jason and Bravo Team head to the Gulf of Guinea to rescue American hostages after an oil platform is overtaken by armed militants, on the second season premiere of SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, Oct. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Admittedly, we are just as curious at the moment of some of these SEALs outside of their missions, especially after so much of their time spent overseas. Hopefully, we get more of that over the first batch of episodes. We do know that Michaela McManus is going to be returning in this episode as Alana, so there is going to be at least one opportunity. Beyond this episode, we’ll just have to wait and see — the synopsis doesn’t really indicate whether or not this rescue mission is going to be a one-time storyline or something that is going to become a central component to the second season as a whole.
