Chicago PD season 6 spoilers: Dexter alum David Zayas to appear
In a new post on Twitter (see below), the Dexter, Blue Bloods, and Gotham alum is going to be a part of the story in some shape or form moving into the sixth season. Unfortunately, at the moment there just isn’t a whole lot of information out there as to precisely who Zayas will be playing. We know that he can be anyone from a detective to a politician to even a crime boss without any problem; one of the reasons why he is perfect for this show is that he does have that sort of versatility that he can bring to the table.
There are many different signs that we’ve got that Chicago PD season 6 is going to be a great season just from the guest stars alone. After all, you’ve got Zayas joining Anne Heche of The Brave, and these two alone should be a formidable combination. Also, remember that there are some other great stories that the series can tell itself, ones that begin with what happened at the end of the fifth season to Olinsky. There are likely going to be a number of characters who still are reeling from this, even if there is a time jump, at the start of the new season. It’s fairly hard to imagine that they wouldn’t be given that there was a lot of affection that many people had for this character.
Chicago PD season 6 premieres on NBC come Wednesday, September 26 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, following Chicago Med and then also Chicago Med. The whole intention here is to make this into an event every Wednesday; we’ll see what happens.
