Shades of Blue series finale video: Harlee’s testimony

The Shades of Blue series finale is set to debut on NBC come Sunday night, and all signs certainly point towards it being powerful. How could it not be when you have Harlee giving key testimony at the center of it?

If you think back to the season premiere, you saw Jennifer Lopez’s character on the stand, prepared to tell a story of systemic police corruption. Basically, she was ready and willing to destroy Intelligence in a way that she couldn’t without help from other parties. This is her way to end it, but there’s still one problem: Whether or not she has all of the information necessary to pull this off. This is where she is going to need a little bit of help from some other people — take, to be specific, Cole. He has a better understanding than anyone as to what happened in Intelligence.

Yet, here is the problem that Harlee could be running into in this episode: Trying to find this guy, who may be trying to take off. He knows what could happen to him, after all, if he makes such a public stance. That’s the hard thing about being cops in Harlee, Woz, or Cole’s position — the right thing in terms of the letter of the law may not be the right thing for them. they still have to figure out a way to feel safe and not have to spend the entirety of their lives looking over their shoulder. Nobody should have to be in that position where they are constantly afraid.

One way or another, we do anticipate that there is a resolution that will be coming in the series finale — it may not be the resolution that some of these characters want, but it’s still a resolution nonetheless.
