Scream season 3: Three different things to keep in mind
Why is that? Basically, we’ve been stuck waiting for this season for a long time, and other than the cast (which includes Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, and now Mary J. Blige) and the basic premise, there isn’t all that much known about it.
For the sake of this article (and video below — be sure to subscribe to get more news about it), we want to give you three different things that you can expect to see on the story coming up.
1. It’s going to be coming on this year – That much has been discussed and seemingly confirmed, pending some sort of other delay. The plan for now appears to be to air the six episodes across three different nights, turning the show into a sort of event.
2. It’s a very different sort of story – The basic premise for this season revolves around a young man in Atlanta named Deion (RJ Cyler), who is a star running back who eventually finds his terrible past coming back to haunt him. Not only that, but it could also end up causing all sorts of terrible things to happen to his friends. While we certainly think that there will be some similarities here to the first two seasons of the show, the basic objective here is to create a series with its very own distinct style.
3. It’s not necessarily the end – At the moment, there is no indication that Scream season 3 is for sure the end. The great thing about shifting this more to the anthology format is that it makes it possible for MTV to bring it back in the future with new ideas and a new cast, depending of course on the ratings.
Obviously, once there is some more news on Scream we will let you now — for now, head over here for more of the latest.
