Vikings season 5 episode 11 teaser: ‘Now I can die’
Of course, the main operative word here is “small,” given that it doesn’t seem like the show is all that intent on giving you a bevy of specific spoilers other than some glimpses of battles, swords, drama, and then Lagertha proclaiming at the end of it “now I can die.” It’s really this to us that is more significant than almost anything else, largely because of the prophecy that is out there. While we know that she was prepared to die at the end of the first half of season 5, we’re not sure she will be in the same place come episode 11. There may be a few more goals that she wants to, understandably, check off in the aftermath of what transpired before uttering the words in the teaser.

On more of a meta level, we are very much pleased to see that History is already ramping up their marketing for Vikings season 5 already, mostly because we want this show to end on as big and as bold of a note as humanly possible — whether that be during season 6 or some other point down the road. That is in part what makes this show so interesting right now — History is really slow-playing giving you some of their new episodes, especially given the fact filming has been going on for season 6 for a rather long time now.
