Next week on Queen Sugar season 3 episode 13, the most important episode of the entire summer is here. The season 3 finale is going to offer up some resolution to some of the stories for Ralph Angel, Violet, and others … but also still leave the door open for the future. When one issue is resolved, another issue rises — that’s just the way of things for this particular show, which would not be able to really operate if there was not some element of conflict always happening behind the scenes.

Below, the Queen Sugar season 3 episode 13 synopsis does a pretty good job of setting the stage for at least some of what you can expect to see in the near future:

It feels fairly clear based on this that there is a lot to be excited for in this episode, and we’re not just gearing up for an hour of television meant to make you sob. Yet, don’t exactly consider that a guarantee that you’ll be feeling altogether happy coming out of this episode, either. This is going to be an installment that could still raise questions and break some hearts. Given that it does now have that season 4 renewal under its belt, at least all of us as viewers can watch with confidence, knowing that the show isn’t going to be going the way of the dodo in the near future. Focus on the story, and focus on all of the feelings that are inevitably going to be coursing through your veins.
