Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 13 (finale) spoilers: ‘The Hyenas’

Animal Kingdom season 3

What lies ahead on Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 13? Let’s start with this: It is the final episode of the season. This is an episode where everything comes to a head, and with that we have to wonder whether or not the Cody Boys are going to tear each other — or Smurf — limb from limb. There is a reason that this final episode is entitled “The Hyenas,” because they are all predators who are looking to take out the weakest from the herd.

Yet, here is the question we’re left to ponder here: Who is actually strong, and who can be considered the true weak link? Smurf may have a lot of influence, but does she really have control? Is J in over his head? Is Frankie setting up Craig for a fall? Here are some of the questions that you have to wonder entering the final episode.

Below, the Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 13 synopsis does offer up a little more information as to what you can expect to see:

J (Finn Cole) realizes the danger of balancing his role in the family with his personal ambitions. Deran (Jake Weary) wants to take his relationship with Adrian (Spencer Treat Clark) to the next level, but it’s not as easy as he hoped. Frankie (Dichen Lachman) opens new doors for Craig (Ben Robson). Smurf (Ellen Barkin) offers to give the boys the independence they’ve been asking for, but it doesn’t come for free.

Is it possible someone else dies in the finale, or at least is close to it like Baz last year? We’re not ruling it out, especially given where things have been as of late when it comes to Pope. He’s been going rogue and getting angry and because of that, anything could happen with him coming up.
