Where is Into the Badlands season 3 alongside Fear the Walking Dead?

Given that Fear the Walking Dead is returning to AMC tonight with new episodes, it only makes sense to ask one other question to go along with it: Where is Into the Badlands? For most of the summer, the martial-arts drama aired alongside Fear with new episodes.

Yet, tonight Fear the Walking Dead is being paired up with Preacher, and with that, there’s not going to be any Into the Badlands coming on the air in the near future. It’s not on tonight and, to go along with it, it’s not going to be coming on next week, either. There’s no real room in the schedule for it at the moment and by the time that the series returns, it may be January. That’s especially a bummer given that the episodes are filmed and we’re mostly just stuck sitting around and waiting for them.

Perhaps the biggest indicator of all that we’re not getting any Into the Badlands season 3 episodes in the near future is that AMC has not made any announcement about a return date yet, and they tend to do that at least several weeks before a show comes back onto the air.

Moving forward into the second half of Into the Badlands season 3, it should be pretty darn clear the sort of drama that is going to be coming up. Sunny just made an enormous decision involving Pilgrim that could end up having world-altering consequences.

If the return date for Into the Badlands is at some point in 2019, we imagine that a return-date announcement is going to be at some point a little bit later in the fall. Let’s hope that the cast has a chance to go to New York Comic-Con in order to promote it further.
