Wynonna Earp season 3 episode 5 video: What is Jolene doing?

Wynonna Earp

Who is Jolene, really? That’s a question that Wynonna Earp season 3 episode 5, fittingly titled “Jolene,” will be out to address in some shape or form.

The promo below makes it clear, at least in part, that Zoie Palmer’s character is going to be front and center for most of the action. Yet, it doesn’t really do all that much when it comes to addressing precisely why the character is there in the first place … or how she is there. If we were to come up with a simple theory here, it is that Jolene possesses the ability to implant herself into the minds of those close to her. Because of that, these characters seem to think that she’s been there for years and is just a natural part of the family. That means that it’s going to be very hard for anyone to get rid of her, just because they perceive her to be a natural extension of the entire family. How do you get rid of someone who, according to your brain, you don’t actually to say goodbye to? That’s one of the things that is going to be interesting about this upcoming episode.

Beyond just that, there are a couple of other things to be pondering over here … including what’s going to be coming next with Doc. On this past episode, he was presented with a very specific offer in regards to his curse. It’s one of the most important decisions that he’s had to make and depending on what happens here, the reverberations could be big for the remainder of the entire season.

Oh, and this promo also does have some funny moments in it — it’s more than just Jolene, though we do think that Palmer is the biggest selling point of the episode.
