Outlander notes: More Sam Heughan fun via recent interviews
The video below features Sam sitting down with MTV News, and the entire purpose of the segment seems to be based around him having to analyze some of his old Instagram photos. The results of this are pretty hilarious as Sam discusses why he looks off in the distance in some photos, trying to look as intense as humanly possible, and also trying to do his best James Bond audition in the form of a photo. We will take him playfully talking about Bond here than getting peppered with the same boilerplate question about it in other interviews time and time again.
There isn’t too much in the way of Outlander scoop in this interview, but we really don’t mind since we consider this to be, by and large, a really good time and worth some laughs. It’s just nice to see a different side of Sam critiquing his own social media.

As for the second video – This one comes via Celebrity Page TV, though it is more like a series of quotes than just a full-fledged interview discussing his recent movie. This is mostly geared around The Spy Who Dumped Me, but any opportunity to see Sam getting some press ultimately helps both him and the show itself.
As for what’s next for Sam, that can be answered in just one simple word: Bloodshot. The actor is going to be in South Africa coming up so that he can work on the new superhero movie starring Vin Diesel and others. It’s a very different sort of role than he’s done as of late, and certainly one that is physically challenge in ways that are different than any of his recent roles.
