Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: Does Haleigh want to backdoor Tyler? (day 53)

Big Brother 20

The Power of Veto Competition is hopefully going to be underway before long in the Big Brother 20 house — we’ll have some more information on that soon, but for now, we felt like it’d be best to set the table.

The Veto players this week (HoH) Haleigh, nominees Angela and Rockstar (put up by the hacker), and then also Kaycee, Faysal, and Tyler, who was chosen by the hacker to compete. It’s pretty transparent in some ways that Kaycee won the competition, but we really don’t think that this even matters. As it was said in the house earlier today, it’s basically 50-50 as to whose alliance wins the competition.

While it’s been a reasonably quiet afternoon, one of the bigger things to come up is Haleigh making it clear that she really doesn’t want to backdoor Tyler, mostly because she feels like she’s already got two people mad at her and really doesn’t want to infuriate him. Brett eventually shared some of this information with Level 6, reminding us further that Brett is a tremendous double agent. We honestly don’t think that it matters, though, given that we think Tyler is going to use his power if there’s even a slight chance of being backdoored. It’s too risky at this point in the game, even if we think Haleigh isn’t seriously planning to nominate him. The only situation we’d risk keeping it is if Angela wins the Veto. Tyler can handle being the replacement nominee there since he seems to have the votes … so we say now.

Another interesting thread in the house is the growing sentiment that Sam may self-evict by the end, given that she keeps being super-paranoid about what people are saying about her. She’s very close to Rockstar and if she leaves the game, who knows what she may decide to do? We just think Sam isn’t one of those people built for the game.
