Take Two episode 8 ratings post season high, boost season 2 odds
With the final ratings now in, Take Two on Thursday managed to draw in total a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic to go along with over 2.9 million viewers. While this is not a season high in total viewers, it is in the demo — which typically is the most important thing in determining whether or not a show gets another season. We personally do think that if the series keeps that up, it has a chance at getting another season. One of the things that networks like ABC like to see is growth from the start of a season to the end of it. This is an indicator that much of the audience will stick around for another season, and beyond that, that the show could even improve in season 2.
One of the things about Take Two that is so appealing is that its a lighthearted summer whodunnit show with replay value and also the ability to bring on more people over time. You can jump in and start watching at any time without having to know or understand some of what came beforehand. Of course, it is also still early enough in its run that viewers can binge-watch and catch up over the weekend if they really wanted to.
There are still a handful of Take Two episodes left to go and because of that, there are still some opportunities to see the ratings improve. Fingers crossed that we get an opportunity to see that very thing.
