Last Man Standing season 7 rehearsals begin, per Tim Allen
In a new post on Twitter last night, series star Tim Allen confirmed that there was a rehearsal on yesterday for the new season — something that they can do now that new actors Molly McCook and Jet Jurgensmeyer have been brought on board. This announcement will certainly generate a little bit of excitement, which will be amplified further when filming proper actually begins.

So what do we know about what lies ahead? Much of it starts with the fact that the new season is going to kick off with some sort of playful nod to the campaign to bring the show back, something that will probably be appreciated by many people who fought for it to return. After that, we feel like it’s going to dive back into being the same show that it always was, one that has a lot of family-based humor and character conflicts. There may be some other meta-references along the way (we still think that there’s going to be some sort of subtle nod that there are new performers playing Mandy and Boyd), but this will remain the same show you loved. Otherwise, there is not going to be much of a reason to bring the show back.
Last Man Standing season 7 premieres on Fox this fall, and what we know at the moment is that there will be a foreign exchange student brought on at some point; meanwhile, there’s also going to be an episode revolving around a difficult death in the family and also one that will look back at some of the events that happened while the show was off the air. There’s going to be a lot of content packed into what is coming up on the series next.
