The Blacklist season 6 filming update: New behind-the-scenes Megan Boone tease

The Blacklist season 6 filming has been going on for a little while now but by and large the cast and crew are keeping their cards close to the vest. There have been a few sightings of James Spader and Megan Boone out and about New York, but in terms of official story details, there hasn’t been a whole lot of news out there.

Of course, with that being said there are two fairly understandable reasons for it. For starters, The Blacklist season 6 is not premiering until 2019! There’s no need to push out too much scoop right now when the series is still so far away from actually coming on the air. Beyond just that, another key reason may just be the need to keep things quiet for the sake of major spoilers coming out since we’re at a time in the series right now where those could be fairly prevalent.

The post that CarterMatt has for you (via Boone’s Instagram) is a fun little look behind the scenes, even if it doesn’t give too much away beyond the fact that Liz Keen and Ressler are going to be sharing a reasonable amount of time together moving forward this season. Beyond that, it shows the real scale at which the production works since it often takes a village to make some of the show’s biggest scenes come together. The two are out in the field together and there are cop cars nearby; with that in mind, we have to think that things are going to be fairly intense no matter what the team is currently filming.
