Want to get some of the first Law & Order: SVU season 20 episode titles? Look no further, as we’ve got them for you within!

In a new post on Twitter (see HERE), executive producer Julie Martin confirmed that the first episode of season 20 is entitled “Man Up”; meanwhile, the second one is “Man Down.” What’s kind of fantastic about this is that these two phrases actually have totally different meanings, but in pairing them together they take on a new and very-interesting thematic life of their own.

Meanwhile, the third episode of the season is entitled “Zero Tolerance” seems to be more in a familiar vein for SVU titles, and we can easily see this tied into someone’s sexual-harassment policy … which they may or may not follow all that explicitly when it comes to an act that is committed. We do see situations surrounding these sort of things all the time in the real world. As a matter of fact, this is even going on right now in Major League Baseball after the Houston Astros brought on board a player who had been previously charged with assaulting a woman.

We never want to read too much into any title given that two words can often only say so much about a story — yet, it can also say quite a bit, depending on your interpretation of the meaning. Given that we do still have a month to go until the series premieres, this does feel like at least a nice way in which to get our feet wet and start to understand what direction that the story could be going in. Obviously, we’ll have many more updates as we start to get closer to the September 27 premiere.
