NCIS season 16: Five questions to answer, from Abby to Ziva
Recently, we compiled a list of some of the things to expect for the upcoming season; this time around, we’re touching instead on five questions we want to see answered! There’s no guarantee any of these will be, but it doesn’t hurt to get them out into the universe.

1. How is Abby doing with her new venture? – While we’re not expecting Pauley Perrette to reprise her role so soon after departing the series, it would be nice to get some sort of formal update as to how her character is doing. After all, we do still assume that there are conversations happening between her and some other members of the team!
2. Will Gibbs ever find love again? – While he doesn’t need to be in a relationship per se, it does feel like this is the time to really touch on the subject again — especially with Sloane around now and there being a contingent of ‘shippers out there.
3. How are McGee and Delilah’s kids doing? – This is probably the update we most expect, but it’s also the one that is needed after investing so much time on this storyline last season — especially the episode where Delilah’s life was in danger.
4. How successful is Ducky now? – There is a part of us that really wants to see his book take off on the level where he is really becoming a public figure, mostly because it would introduce a new angle into the show and maybe bring more attention to the people around him. It’s another way mix things up for that character.
5. Is Ziva still alive? – Maybe this is the most unlikely one for CBS to answer, but we do firmly believe that she is still out there and we would more than welcome the opportunity to actually see Cote de Pablo on the series again — preferably with Michael Weatherly, even if we understand the difficulties insofar as scheduling goes.

#1 – She’s gone – she’s out of the show. Don’t care.
#2 – Would like to see some romance for Gibbs. If not Jack (don’t care one way or the other), then someone new.
#3 – A few mentions & maybe they come to visit daddy once in awhile would be nice and add a little family moment and levity to an episode or two.
#4 – Seeing Ducky once in awhile is going to be nice – and perhaps mentioning what’s happening to him now and again would also be nice to hear.
#5 – This is “beating a dead horse”. Ziva was declared dead. No way Tony is coming back. We all need to just let these two former cast mates go. it was their decision to go and just don’t want to see either return.

Don’t care about #1
#2 if they do it right. I didn’t like the relationship(s) between Hollis Mann, or Doc Ryan.
#3 I wouldn’t mind seeing that but there will be fans who only want the team. NO extraneous stuff. I would also like to know how Breana and Victoria are doing.
#4 We will know how Ducky is doing when he comes into work as he has planned from time to time.
