Shadowhunters season 3 finale: Last day of filming is here
As emotional as it may be for everyone out there, remember that this is also definitely emotional for the cast. One of the things that they have to do today is approach it as though it is the last day, mostly so that they can ensure they have the emotional closure that they need for themselves. We do think that they’d love to continue making episodes if that happens, but we understand that the “expect the worst, hope for the best” mentality may be useful in these sort of situations.

Everyone out there should still do all in their power to save Shadowhunters, but in the interim we wouldn’t be surprised to see the cast land some new roles elsewhere. They have to continue working — it’s a part of their career — and really, them getting an even larger profile is likely only going to help the series in the long run. It’s more exposure and that means more attention that they can bring back to some of their prior work. So long as schedules allow, there’s always a way to bring everyone back down the road.
As today winds down up in Toronto for the cast and crew, we’re sure that there is one prevailing feeling that almost all of them feel: Gratitude. It’s been a roller-coaster over the past few months with this show, constantly waiting to learn if there will be more new episodes. Meanwhile, the cast has also had to figure out how to keep filming the show and getting into character in the midst of all of this. Hopefully, there’s good news coming in the future, for now let’s all be grateful with what we’ve had and this strange, unifying ride we’ve all been on together. These moments of fighting to save the show will stick with us for a rather long time.
