Last Man Standing season 7: Big news coming for Tim Allen series; when?

We’ve teased as of late that Last Man Standing season 7 is going to need to address a number of different things about their plans. Take, for example, their plan to recast Mandy Baxter and Boyd; or, what they plan to do in terms of Eve.

So when are we going to get answers to these questions? They could come as early as this afternoon — and even if they don’t, we will get some sort of information about what’s coming. Today, Fox is holding their presentation at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, which is where networks bring some of their programming in order to have discussions with journalists on what they have planned.

As for who is going to be appearing at the panel (which starts at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time), you will see showrunner Kevin Abbott, executive producer / writer Matt Berry, executive producer Becky Clements, and then also cast members Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, and Jordan Masterson. We anticipate this being a fairly lively discussion about the show and what’s coming, but it’s also going to be rather interesting in that filming actually hasn’t started for the series yet.

Last Man Standing being at TCA should be considered a rather-big sign that Fox is invested in making this an even bigger hit, mostly because not every show on the network goes to the event; the vast majority of the ones who do are new shows trying to build an audience. We think that Fox is in some ways treating Last Man Standing like a new show, and that may actually be rather helpful as it looks to get a larger audience.
