Reverie finale spoilers: Can someone stop Oliver Hill?

Reverie

The Reverie finale is set to air on NBC next week and, going into it, it’s starting to feel clear how much danger Onira Tech is in. Oliver Hill is out there on the loose and beyond that, we’ve got a good sense now as to what his plan is. He’s grown to be so bitter over the use of the platform that he helped to create that he’s ready and willing to destroy it altogether. He’s also completely unstable and that makes it infinitely harder to actually figure out what it is he’s going to actually do.

The Reverie finale synopsis that Cartermatt has for you below does offer up a little more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

The team must race against the clock when one of them is kidnapped, and Onira-Tech is at risk of being destroyed. Sarah Shahi, Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Kathryn Morris and Jessica Lu also star.

For Mara Kent in particular, we know what her future holds and how dangerous it really is — at the end of tonight’s episode, she threw herself into Ray’s own subconscious via Reverie in hopes of resolving some of the biggest demons that she’s uncovered in her life. What this does mean is that we’re on the cusp of one of the biggest reveals of the entire season, one that could either heal her forever or bring her to a state of disrepair.

As for who is getting kidnapped, Alexis is clearly the one in the most danger — she’s the one who Oliver has been wanting the attention of and they have a relationship that already carries with it some level of toxicity. He may feel like he can manipulate her in some way, even if there is not actually a real means for him to do so.

There is no Reverie season 2 renewal at the moment, so you better hope that there is some sort of resolution at the end of all of this just in case we don’t get any more after this.
