The Bold Type season 2 finale spoilers: Paris Fashion Week!

On paper, there is certainly a lot for many people to be excited about when it comes to The Bold Type and its season 2 finale airing next week. How could you not be when one of the central stories revolves around Paris Fashion Week? This is a chance to really dive into these characters in a different setting — yet, in the process, not everything is going to happen according to plan. This may be a chance for our characters to learn a little bit more about the fashion industry, but also a little more about themselves in the process as they combat an extreme, competitive environment.

Of course, beyond just what’s going on in Paris, Jane also has some important decisions to make about her future. Meanwhile, Kat has to find a way to tackle both the responsibilities of her job alongside the relationship that she’s built with Adena.

Sutton’s professional dreams come true when she jets off to Paris for Fashion Week, but while there she gains a new perspective on her situation. Jane moves forward with her fertility plan until she learns surprising news about her options and is faced with Ben and Pinstripe’s different solutions. Kat faces pressure from Jacqueline to make their Paris party a success while attempting to reset her relationship with Adena.

Is this finale going to tie up all of the major stories of the season? We certainly think that there is a desire to have that happen, but the reality here is that there’s a pretty big chance for a cliffhanger. After the first season, Freeform went ahead and gave The Bold Type a two-season renewal. What that means is that they never had to worry over the past few months about whether or not the show was going to be canceled. Now the producers can give us some story elements that can carry over into the next season without concern.
