Blindspot, How to Get Away with Murder castings; Insecure season 3 tease

In today’s edition of Quick Hits, we’ve got once more a number of interesting things to discuss — beginning with a little bit of casting news!

Let’s kick things off with some of the latest when it comes to Blindspot season 4, though there are not too many details out there about the new characters just yet. What we do know is this. According to a new report coming in via TVLine, Dustin Milligan of Schitt’s Creek and The Leftovers alum Annie Q. are both going to be guest-starring on the story moving forward. We know that season 4 has filmed some scenes in Japan, but beyond just that / the big Remi twist there are still many different mysteries that are currently up in the air.

Blindspot will return to NBC with new episodes this fall on Friday night.

How to Get Away with Murder season 5 scoop – In what has to be some of the most welcome news of the day, Timothy Hutton is going to be appearing as a series regular! He’s a fantastic actor, but unfortunately, there is not a whole lot of news out there about this character as of yet. (This news was first reported via Deadline.)

Issa Rae talks Insecure season 3 – Leading up to the show’s big return to HBO, why not get a few more details all about it? In the video below, Rae talks a little bit more about some of the general themes you can expect to see in the upcoming season and what she is excited for viewers to check out. Given that such a large amount of this series is told through Rae’s own voice, we love getting a chance to see how invested she is the story and how eager she is to continue to talk about it in some way.

Ultimately, we just how that Issa the character gets herself on a path moving forward that she can be truly happy with.
