Salvation season 2 episode 7 preview: Darius wants revenge
Sometimes, you don’t need too many details about an episode to be excited — that’s where we are entering Salvation season 2 episode 7.
Entering this episode Darius is going to be on the warpath even more so than we’ve seen him to date. We’ve seen him at least try to be restrained this season but that’s about to go off the rails. He has not always been great at keeping himself together, but he’s still attempted to restrain himself nonetheless. That’s hard following Mackenzie’s assassination.
The Salvation season 2 episode 7 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more information when it comes to what’s ahead:
“The Madness of King Tanz” – Darius vows revenge on the hacktivist group Re/Syst, no matter what the cost. Also, Harris discovers a dark secret and Grace reveals one of her own, on SALVATION, Monday, August 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
What are we going to end up seeing in this episode? We feel like much of it is going to spawned out of Darius wanting to commit some sort of big, dramatic, and potentially violent action. He’s a character who will eventually take off the gloves and fight, and while he has not always shown that as Vice President we know that to be true. He’s also probably at a point now where some of his patience is starting to trickle off a little bit. Just remember for a moment what he’s been through already, whether it be fighting Monroe Bennett or having to stay focused on the apocalypse threat in the midst of everything else.
This is probably the craziest thing about Salvation as a whole — there is often so much going on that it is easy to forget about the fact that the end of the world could be right around the corner.

Season 1 prove that couldn’t make the lab work exciting, so I guess turning this into a more political show was a good choice.
An all I think is I wish these writers were involved in designated survivor, it would have been a much more exciting tv series.

I think it’s more realistic to focus on the bullsh**t that probably WOULD really happen. In the real world, a bunch of scientists would be focusing on saving the world, but more folks would be jockeying for power just as they are on Salvation. Darius is unique in that he is dwelling heavily in both camps. Surprised he hasn’t had a nervous breakdown. But he has a great ability to compartmentalize as he has been dealing with the reality of his own death from Huntingtons for quite a while. A fascinating character played well by Santiago Cabrera.

I think they have veered too far away from the fact that the world may be coming to an end!!!

The world may be ending but that doesn’t we still can’t have a little civil war and plenty of political games why we wait for the asteroid arrive to do its thing.
