Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: Week 5 Veto Ceremony results (day 41)

Big Brother 20

The week 5 Veto Ceremony took place in the Big Brother 20 house on Monday, and with that we do think Tyler’s priorities are clear.

In some ways, it’s pretty amazing that Tyler hasn’t been called out by more people within his own alliance for this. Yet, he’s effectively put his own interests ahead of anyone in Level 6 by deciding to not use the Veto. He doesn’t want to expose himself to Bayleigh’s side of the house, and the best way for him to do that is to leave Brett and Rachel on the block. His plan from the past few days has become rather clear: Find a way to keep Brett in the game using Angela, Kaycee, himself, JC, and Sam as the votes to do it. While it’s hard to trust JC, at the same time it seems like he has the support of everyone else.

Ultimately, Tyler did not use the Veto at the ceremony, and in the immediate aftermath of that it was clear that he had gotten what he wanted to out of it. Bayleigh told him that she trusted him completely after he adhered to her wishes, which leads us to wonder this — if Tyler wins HoH next week and backdoors her, is this one of the most cold-blooded moves that we’ve had a chance to see in the game? We do think that it’s certainly up there, but that’s such a specific set of circumstances that it’s pretty unlikely to play out that way.

We’ll see where things go in the campaign over the next few days, but at least for now, we don’t anticipate that there are going to be any sort of dramatic moves or swings in the game.
