Shadowhunters season 3 teases, BTS moments, and more

Today’s Shadowhunters update is geared mostly around a wide array of different things when it comes to the show itself, whether it be fun teases, moments behind the scenes, or hopes for great stuff coming up.

Remember here that there are twelve more episodes of the show to come regardless of what happens with the #SaveShadowhunters campaign! Obviously we would like to see the series back for more, and we’ll certainly have more discussion on that every step of the way.

Izzy scoop – Let’s kick things off here with a focus on Izzy, given that it feels like we’re gearing up for some of the best Izzy (and Sizzy) scenes that we’ve seen on the show to date. Emeraude Toubia took part in a Q&A session with fans on Twitter earlier today, and when asked how she would describe the second half of season 3, she replied with one simple word: “Sizzy.” She also noted that her favorite Clary / Izzy moment is coming in the final batch of episodes, and that she had a chance to have a few of the cupcakes that were ordered by fans in the midst of the campaign.

A small little Jonathan tease – Many of you may have seen this look at Luke Baines in character already, but for those who haven’t, it’s a nice little peek at what is coming up next! This version of Jonathan is going to be a big part of the second half of season 3, which is currently slated to premiere in early 2019. It’d be great if Freeform changed it, but we have not heard anything official on that subject.

Javier Muñoz is excited – This Instagram video that CarterMatt has for you below is sentimental and fun, as the man behind the character of Lorenzo Rey showcases his chair on set alongside many of the other actors. It’s a great moment for him to finally have, and beyond that, it’s another reminder that there is more story to tell for Lorenzo.
