Take Two episode 7 preview: Sam, Eddie wake up in bed

Want to see what’s coming on Take Two episode 7? Let’s just say that for Sam and Eddie, this is certainly the most shocking episode of the season. They’ve taken on a number of cases that have put them in a really interesting place, but never quite one in which they kick things off by waking up in bed together. This one is going to be awkward for both of them, especially since they have no idea how they got there.

Is there a reasonable explanation for this? That’s something that you’re going to have to watch tonight’s episode in order to uncover.

For now, though, let’s kick things off by sharing the Take Two episode 7 synopsis:

When Sam and Eddie wake up in bed together, naked, and with no memory of the previous night, they can’t help but wonder what did or didn’t happen. But when they discover that the whole previous day is a complete blank, they begin to suspect that they were purposely drugged. The mystery deepens when, back at the office, a client they have no recollection of meeting returns to thank them for helping her recover her lost dog. Working with what little information they have, along with Berto and Monica’s help, the pair attempt to reconstruct their lost day, only to discover that there’s a lot more at stake than a missing dog. Meanwhile, Sam fears that while drugged she may have broken her sobriety.

We do like to think of this particular episode as the ultimate awkward team effort, given that Sam and Eddie are going to have to rely heavily on everyone around them in order to reconstruct exactly what happened.

Like we’ve said before, this is the sort of crime-show trope we’ve seen many times in the past. Yet, when done well, it can be extremely funny and really well done. Let’s hope that is the case here.
