Should Stana Katic appear on Take Two at some point in the future?

As many people out there know at this point, one of the reasons we first developed some interest in Take Two was due to the presence of Castle executive producers Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe on the project. Beyond that, it was rather nice to get a guest spot from none other than Seamus Dever on this past episode. This may be a separate show, but it is absolutely honoring some of Miller and Marlowe’s past work.

With this in mind, we now have to wonder this: Should Stana Katic guest star in the future? We know that she’s excited about the show — she had a fun little interaction with Miller on social media earlier. Also, it would be fun to see her back on network TV again — it’s good promotion for her new show Absentia (which is filming season 2 later this year) and, beyond that, it would warm our hearts a little bit to see her back with two of the people she worked with in order to craft the Kate Beckett character.

The other good thing about Take Two is that the possibilities really are endless in terms of some of the characters she could play! We can easily envision Katic being some sort of adversary for Sam and Eddie, whether it be someone they suspect of a crime or a rival private investigator. Or, maybe you bring her on as someone in need of help. Or, why not cast her as Sam’s sister or family member? There’s probably enough of a resemblance between Katic and Rachel Bilson that you could pull this off.

Really, it all comes down to this: Take Two is one of our favorite summer shows. Meanwhile, Stana has already created some TV magic before with this creative team. Why not bring the gang back together?

…. My hope is that Stana and MILMAR will at some
future date be able to collaborate on a New Show
with Stana in the Lead Role!!! She has legions of fans
around the World ? who supports and follows Her and
would be thrilled to see Her on TV / Film like me……. ….
With ” Take Two ” , it already have its Stars and Agenda
I’d rather not see Stana just fitting in in some spot of the Show………

I’d get that Stana would go on Take Two in support of the people who gave her her big break, but Take Two isn’t what half of Castle was that 1st season or any of the next 5. Stana doing an episode of Take Two would show she was sweet, grateful and professional, but the show just has not got anything to compare to Castle. I’d watch the episode to watch her, but …

On one hand, I’m glad Stana still has a nice relationship, and supports the creators of Castle, who helped give her, her breakout role.
On the other hand, ABC did her wrong. I’d more than likely watch that episode but that’s it.

Honestly I’m divided on this. I wonder should she revisit a clone of a show that was successful thanks to her, dredging up the painful memories she had at the end?
I love her to death as one of my three favorite actors and admire her so much for how she showed her strength and moved on so successfully I hate to see her go backwards. Maybe I’m wrong, just “imho”, but I think she should continue to move forward, not backwards. She deserves to!
