Outlander star Sam Heughan heading to The Spy Who Dumped Me premiere
Many of the cast members for The Spy Who Dumped Me are going to be present tonight for the big premiere event in California (which is where our family calls home), which we imagine will lead to a flurry of different photos, videos, interviews, and the like. This is basically the beginning of a huge press tour for Sam, which is going to include an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday and then also a stop at Live! with Kelly and Ryan early next week. There is of course plenty that Sam has to discuss, from his role in the action-comedy to also Outlander season 4 and everything in between. His movie role is understandably going to be more of the focus here, but there could be an Outlander quote or two thrown in there somewhere.
The Spy Who Dumped Me is Sam’s first major foray as a movie star with a major US studio, but we know that he has another exciting project in the works now in Bloodshot alongside Vin Diesel. Of course, there are also some of those rumors about James Bond that are going to keep popping up.

Ultimately, we’ve already said that Sam’s appearance in all of these different projects will only help Outlander moving forward since it is exposing a whole new group of fans to someone they may not be all that familiar with. One of the toughest publicity-related challenges is often finding a way in which to convince people to check out a show when they are not familiar with it. We’ll just have to see what happens with Outlander and its ratings from here. (Ultimately, we feel the same about any project that features Caitriona Balfe or any other actor.)

Yes, the only reason I’m going to see the movie is to see Sam!!! However, now that I’ve seen the trailers, I must admit it looks like it’ll be a lot of fun, so I have high hopes that it’ll be a big success for all involved ?
