Suits season 8 episode 3 preview: Is Alex still interested in Samantha’s client?
At the end of tonight’s episode, Dule Hill’s character was told by Samantha to cool off his pursuit of a big former client of hers, one that could eventually land him in a spot that was particularly uncomfortable. She seemed to infer that there was something that transpired in the past that could make things rather complicated, and this has our curiosity piqued moving forward. What we’re mostly worried about here is Alex being so desperate for Robert Zane’s attention that he ends up making a deal with a devil and brings in a client that, by no means, he should want to work with. How he’s being introduced to his business is shady in itself, with the man having Alex do a personal favor for him rather than something tied to his company.
While we’re worried about Alex, simultaneously it is exciting to see Dule being handed a meaty story like this so early on in the season.

What lies ahead with the landlord? What we’re mostly curious about here is that this is a storyline that feels similar in some ways to what we saw with Donna in season 7. What’s going to be worth exploring here that we haven’t had a chance to see so far? If the firm is in more financial trouble even after bringing Zane on board, that could be problematic. They have to be able to get their heads above water eventually!
