Last Man Standing season 7 will have larger promotional presence, but where?

For everyone out there who wants some more evidence that Last Man Standing season 7 is getting a larger promotional campaign than ever, here it is.

On Thursday, September 13, Fox is going to be holding a preview reception, screening, and conversation surrounding Last Man Standing (alongside some other series in The Cool Kids and Hell’s Kitchen) at PaleyFest, which takes place at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. The event for the media starts at 6:00 p.m. Pacific time, and it features Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, and Jordan Masterson. This is going to be one of the first major appearances by much of the cast since the show was revived at Fox.

We do wonder if there could be another name or two added to this list down the road, mostly because producers do still have the challenge of recasting Mandy after Molly Ephraim’s decision to leave the show earlier this summer.

As for what will be discussed here, we’re sure that there will be a few teases from the upcoming season, but also some discussion about the process of being saved by Fox and also what some of the thematic goals are for the show now. It’s a little bit of a new era for Last Man Standing in that the series now has an opportunity to try and thrive with more promotion than it ever had before — it has been off the air for a long time, so it needs that extra promotion for viewers who may not be aware of the fact that it is coming back.

Last Man Standing season 7 is one of many different shows that will be at PaleyFest from September 6 to the 16th. Some other participants include BoJack Horseman, Atypical, All American, The Rookie, I Feel Bad, The Neighborhood, Charmed, and many others. As you can see, one of the real emphasis points for many networks this year at PaleyFest is promoting new properties. Last Man Standing may not be that, but for promotional purposes it may be considered that way.
