Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: This vote will be a battle (day 34, evening)
At the moment, it appears that the vote between Kaitlyn and Rockstar is split almost down the middle. While the majority of Level 6 (at least the parts of it that are still together) are all relatively on board with getting Rockstar out, everyone else seems fine dispatching Kaitlyn. We’ve already seen Tyler try his best to convince JC to flip over, while Rachel and Kaycee both did everything within their power in order to convince Bayleigh. It’s still too early to see what’s going to happen here, but JC is stubborn and he could be rather hard to flip.
If the vote stays the same, basically what happens is that Sam breaks the tie. Given that she originally nominated Kaitlyn, conventional wisdom suggests that she takes her out. Yet, if Tyler comes to her and tries to convince her otherwise, maybe that swings things on some level, but we’re not at the point in which anyone is campaigning to her.
We’ve already gotten a sense that strategy talk isn’t working all that well with Sam anyway, who’s really done a pretty terrible job with this HoH. This is a real opportunity to gather information from people and try to position yourself for the future, but instead she’s used it to basically play Queen of the Castle and also decide that Haleigh and Kaitlyn aren’t empowering other women enough. We really like Sam and have most of the season, but HoH hasn’t been a good look for her and it’s certainly going to be harmful for her game. Her nomination speech is the sort of thing that instantly causes you to lose two jury votes if they both make it there and she’s at the end.
