Arrow season 7: Michael Jai White, Vinnie Jones returning; new trailer

This weekend marked the Arrow season 7 Comic-Con panel, and just as you would expect, there’s a lot of great stuff coming!

For starters, you’re going to see a number of returning villains! Oliver is behind bars and while there, he is going to see many people he’s responsible for putting away. Cody Rhodes, Michael Jai White, and Vinnie Jones are among the actors who are coming back this season and there could be more to come on the other side of that.

Meanwhile, we also know have some more news regarding the Longbow Hunters, who are going to be a big part of the story this season following the showdown  with Ricardo Diaz. Red Dart, Silencer, and Kodiak are going to be played by Holly Elissa, Miranda Edwards, and Michael Jonsson, respectively, and all of them are going to have a particular agenda when it comes to taking out Oliver Queen.

As for some other assorted odds and ends worth noting, Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) is going to return this season, but the circumstances around it are not 100% clear. Meanwhile, there are no plans at the moment for Willa Holland to return as Thea. Most of Team Arrow is going to try and continue to push forward following Oliver’s arrest, but it’s not going to be easy — and Oliver himself isn’t going to be an altogether likable person behind bars, either. Stephen Amell noted that his character is going to do something “reprehensible” during the first episode of the season, and it’s probably not going to be something that everyone out there is altogether happy with.

Arrow will premiere this fall on Monday nights, where it will be a part of a lineup with Legends of Tomorrow. Despite its new timeslot, all signs suggest that it will be very much the same show you remember and love — just evolved, given that this is one of the darkest beginnings to a season we’ve seen yet.
