Shades of Blue season 3 episode 6 video: Can Harlee, Woz recover?
For those who do not remember, at the end of this past episode we saw Jennifer Lopez’s character, with the blessing of Woz, make a big move in trying to take down intelligence. She knew that there were dirty cops within the unit and she did what she thought was right for the sake of making sure justice is served. The unfortunate thing about this, though, is that it does not appear as though the entire NYPD is going to be in her corner. There are going to be some who continue to hold judgment against her and do not offer her up some of the support that she needs. As a matter of fact, there could even be public pushback against her.
Ultimately, it feels as though we are gearing up now for a situation where the NYPD is at war with itself and it is probably going to take almost everything in her power to order to make sure that no consequences come her way. Some cops may try to target her; after all, we’ve already seen some try and target her daughter Cristina.
Clearly, it feels like this is enough of a reason for Harlee to be enormously stressed-out … but it’s also far from the only reason. After all, the promo also makes it very clear that there is still Stahl to worry about and we have zero reason to think that he is going to stop until he gets what he wants. This is a violet, intense season of the show, and we have a feeling that it’s not going to slow down until the end credits roll in the finale.
