Take Two episode 7 spoilers: Things get awkward for Sam, Eddie

Based on some current details that are out there, Take Two episode 7 next month is going to be a twist on a familiar crime TV trope. Have you seen the hangover episode? That’s something we call an installment that begins with a big realization — some crazy stuff happened involving a main character! Yet, they cannot remember what said stuff was, and they spend most of the episode trying to figure it out. There’s a really good episode of Psych that is in this vein and we also recently saw one with Elementary. It’s a trope that has been around for a while and it’s rarely a bad one, since there are so many different ways you can go with it. Technically, Castle made a whole arc about it with Richard Castle’s missing time.

When Sam and Eddie wake up in bed together, naked, and with no memory of the previous night, they can’t help but wonder what did or didn’t happen. But when they discover that the whole previous day is a complete blank, they begin to suspect that they were purposely drugged. The mystery deepens when, back at the office, a client they have no recollection of meeting returns to thank them for helping her recover her lost dog. Working with what little information they have, along with Berto and Monica’s help, the pair attempt to reconstruct their lost day, only to discover that there’s a lot more at stake than a missing dog. Meanwhile, Sam fears that while drugged she may have broken her sobriety.

Basically, it sounds like whoever drugged Sam and Eddie (if that’s really what happened) did so hoping that they would intentionally forget everything that they saw, thinking that they wouldn’t be able to retrace their steps. Yet, we have a feeling that they’ll figure out a way to do that. This should also prove to be as important an episode for Berto and Monica as it is for Sam and Eddie, since they may be essential to everyone working to get some answers. Consider this to be a team effort like no other!
